MXI's Distilled Spirits Plant (DSP) and Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) safely
recycle all types of ethanol byproducts to include nonsaleable packaged goods
(beer, wine, spirits, and cosmetics), flavors and fragrances, bulk cosmetic and
pharmaceutical byproducts, and more.
The facility has processing equipment to safely decase large quantities of
package goods while recovering the recycable commodities like cardboard, glass,
plastic, or aluminum. Liquids are then processed through the DSP where the
ethanol is recovered and refined into fuel grade ethanol a high octane
automotive fuel. Each gallon of ethanol reduces our country's need for
imported oil. Furthermore, MXI's DSP recovers the water as well through an
additional distillation process. The water is reused as cooling tower
makeup. No liquids are discharged making our process even greener. The unique combination of MRF and DSP allows single stop service for generators that have ethanol based material.
MXI's facility is ADT secured and has a security camera system that constantly
monitors and records all activities.
