Hazardous Waste Capacity
Many companies are finding out that it pays to be green. The journal Consulting
to Management (December 2002) quoted survey findings by S.C. Johnson & Sons
that at least 25% of the US population is willing to link their buying decision
to a company's environmental performance. The journal story also pointed out
that companies are looking "beyond regulatory compliance and social
responsibility to develop environmental initiatives that increase their
competitive standing by reducing costs or increasing profits."
MXI clients are developing environmental initiatives, and we are contributing
to their success with our fully integrated ethanol recycling facility, and our
programs to bulk waste and recycle the associated packaging. Our clients have
found that outsourcing their waste consolidation, recycling and disposal to MXI
has not only helped them develop environmentally friendly initiatives, but it
has contributed to their bottom line.
With our tailored service and competitive pricing, we ensure that our clients
don't have to spend any more money than is essential on environmentally
compliant waste recycling and disposal.
Our knowledgeable staff can help you determine the most cost effective and environmentally
friendly way to treat and dispose of waste streams.
With the opening of our new state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility, MXI
can now process double the tonnage of its previous facility. This means that
customers' waste in bulk, drums, cartons and palletized loads are handled more
efficiently.
We also have 10-day transfer permits that allow us to hold hazardous waste in
transit for 10 days at our Langhorne, PA, Abingdon, VA, Sumter, SC, and Fontana, CA
facilities. We can transport truckloads and less than truckload quantities of
hazardous and non-hazardous waste on company-owned trucks.
